About Lysiane Linda Patricia Mireille
I want to teach as I am fascinated by how knowledge can help us understand ourselves and the people and world around us. I find a good teacher is patient, empathetic, and passionate.
I have had the opportunity to work in international settings and with this exposure to various communities and lifestyles around the world, I have attained the skills to communicate and interact with people who are from any part of the world. I want to teach as I have the spirit and the drive to guide and support any student to achieve their goals and dreams.
Growing up in Asia and Europe, I experienced many different school systems: Chinese, American, Irish, English, and French. I do believe because of this I can bring to a classroom setting my multinational outlook on the world. Studying French and Spanish at Stirling University and graduating with a first revealed to me my passion and gift for languages. I then returned to Taiwan, the place where I spent the first nine years of my life, to ameliorate my Chinese at the University of Wen Zao. There I discovered my passion for teaching while working with children in a cram school, juvenile offenders, and business owners. I learned the importance of knowing a foreign language and how I was able to offer my help in various situations.
