About Eftychia
Hello, everyone! My name is Eftychia (or Effie), which means “Happiness” in Greek. I am an educator, motivator, and lifelong learner with a Master’s Degree in Education and a passion for inspiring others to reach their full potential. Growing up in Greece, I dared to dream big, leaving my small country to study and work in New York. There, I taught at Greek-bilingual schools while studying at City University of New York. Now, I live on a beautiful Greek island, where I am pursuing a PhD in Digital Media and Communication at the Ionian University of Greece. Currently, I am the Head of Studies at a Greek-American nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting Greek culture and education. My own journey has taught me the value of resilience, hard work, and believing in yourself and I bring that energy into my teaching. I love helping students not only learn Greek but also discover their inner strength, build confidence, and chase their dreams. Whether you're mastering the Greek language or navigating your academic journey, I’m here to support and motivate you every step of the way.
