About Phương Anh
Hello! I am Phương Anh, an enthusiastic English educator currently pursuing my Master’s degree in TESOL and Digital Technology at Newcastle University. With a High Distinction background in English Language Studies, CELTA certification, and an IELTS score of 8.0, I have spent the last few years working as an Academic Specialist, curriculum developer, and IELTS coach.
My passion for teaching stems from seeing students transform their confidence and unlock global academic opportunities. I love breaking down complex IELTS skills, especially Speaking and Writing, into clear, manageable techniques that yield real score improvements. Teaching allows me to share my dedication to effective communication while adapting modern, technology-enhanced methods to support each student's unique learning journey.

I hold a CELTA qualification, an IELTS score of 8.0, and am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in TESOL and Digital Technology at Newcastle University. Over the past several years, I have worked as an English Teacher and Academic Specialist, designing IELTS curricula and coaching students from beginner levels up to target bands 6.5+.
My teaching methodology centres on interactive, communicative language teaching tailored to each student’s individual goals. I emphasise practical application, focusing on reducing teacher talking time, sharpening test strategies for IELTS Speaking and Writing, and utilising modern digital tools to make online learning engaging and structured.
Lessons typically run for 60 minutes (with options for 90-minute intensive sessions). I work with secondary school students, university students, and adult learners at all proficiency levels who want to boost their general English fluency, grammar, or achieve their target IELTS band score.
