About Rosie Jo
In June 2017, I graduated from Northwestern University in Illinois, where I majored in Theatre and minored in Creative Writing. During my time there, I became interested in arts education, and shortly after graduation, began teaching at a local summer camp. Now that I live in NYC, I work with several companies that go into the New York City Public Schools to teach dance. I would love to apply my teaching skills to my love of English!

When I begin to teach a new concept, I first look at what the student is doing correctly. I try to base the next steps off of what you already understand! Then, I break down the next steps into manageable chunks. Eventually, we can string it all together!
