About Gina
My experience within the health, social care and education along with my effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills enables me to connect with students making me the perfect candidate for this role.
I have taught Btec/NCFE/Cache/GCSE for many years. As lead IV for the college I was expected to fully understand and follow all required standards. I have an excellent knowledge and experience and can share these with students.
In my first two years of teaching Health & Social Care I successfully improved the colleges pass rates & retention from 53% to 100%.
As a Health and social care professional and educator my efforts extend beyond academics. In addition to having a long industry background which has enhanced my teaching skills, I had a fundamental role in the development of the curriculum and assessment of the students for my last employer, this was evidenced in the greater retention and achievement results. I work hard at improving communication, motivating students and colleagues to set higher standards in and out of the classroom.
