About Silvia
Hi! I graduated in Biological Sciences in Milan and then continued my studies in Biodiversity and Biological Evolution, with excellent results. I then moved to London to study Primatology and Anthropology, further becoming passionate about scientific research, an area in which I am currently trying to build my career. During the years of study I gave tutoring to many young people, a job with gave me a lot of satisfaction and pushed me to evaluate a future as a teacher.

My approach to the subject depends a lot on the student, as I believe that everyone has a different teaching method. First, it is important to establish communication between me and the student, building an informal environment that encourages questions and a full understanding of the topic. When it comes to theoretical subjects I tend to encourage the construction of schemes and maps, to better assimilate the concept and try to create a mind map that helps the memory effort.
