About Shannon
Shannon is a seasoned actor, director, and teaching artist with over two decades of experience in the industry. A resident teaching artist at The Barrow Group in New York City since 2007, she has trained extensively in both acting and directing. As an on-set acting coach, her work has been seen on MAX and Apple TV, and she has directed numerous Off-Broadway productions and staged readings. Shannon is dedicated to helping actors bring their best work to life.

I help actors understand how to look at the script and translate it into clear, actionable choices that bring fully realized characters to life. My approach keeps actors curious, engaged, and open to spontaneous discovery through simple, effective adjustments. I also teach directors how to communicate with actors in a way that invites clear collaboration and understanding, an insight which strengthens and deepens my coaching. Whether you're a seasoned professional, a beginner, or a young artist just beginning to discover what lights you up as an actor- I will tailor our coaching sessions to help you feel confident, connected, and at ease in your storytelling.
