About Justin
I currently teach at Garnish Music Production School in Brooklyn Heights, and have taught at Tin Pan Alley, an offshoot of Dubspot in the past. My music is regularly featured on Beatport's main page and I am fluent in a wide variety of musical styles. I am extremely good at breaking down complex topics, and relating everything back to practical applicability.

I believe that when it comes to learning any sort of active skill, the only way to effectively learn is practice. With music production in particular, explaining something verbally has a limited threshold for effectiveness. My method is to explain something first on a technical level, then on a metaphoric level, and then to give simple examples and exercises on applying the skill.
