About Maria
I grew up bilingually from an early age and have lived in France (close to the border with Germany) for 18 years. Before I switched to the German-French high school in Saarbrücken (Saarland), I attended a purely French-speaking school for eight years.
In July 2021, I obtained my German and French A Levels. Already during middle school and at the beginning of upper school I gave tutoring lessons for younger pupils who were in high school themselves (in French and English), but also one or two hours for pupils from Saarland schools.

Bonjour! :) My name is Maria Simon and I am really excited to experience a lesson en français with you!
Apart from the fact that I try to bring my students closer to grammar, it is extremely important to me that they understand and to pass on the necessary French basics along the way. From your own experience you can say that there is no better way to learn a language than by practicing regularly and talking to someone who speaks the language at a native level.
Of course, I offer a free introductory meeting in which we find out whether the chemistry fits between you and me and which goals or focal points you would like to understand better in French.
The course of the lesson is entirely up to the students, where we work on tasks together at the desired pace until the little light bulb hovers over our heads and the tasks have been understood. Or an hour in which open questions can be clarified or subject matter is repeated. You are welcome to send me your documents and questions in advance so that we can use the time for you as efficiently as possible during the tutoring!

Maria is quite confident in her french speaking skills. Actually lives in France and passed her university entrance qualification there. Happy to have a native speaker teaching me in French.
