About Hendrik
I am a chartered engineer with postgraduate qualifications in chemical and nuclear engineering. Active member and Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers and past Chair of the Joint (IChemE & EA) Committee for Chemical Engineers (Qld Chapter). Working in the Australian region for the past 20 years, whence roles have included risk management support during EPCM studies for clients of major engineering design & construction projects. Proven local track record in risk management and support on numerous projects including the mining and minerals processing sector. Passionate about process safety and adding value by incorporating safety components early into the engineering design process and coordinate and conduct design reviews in conjunction with engineering disciplines, suppliers and client representatives.
Later in career contracted to implement an ISO9001 compliant quality management system, which entailed the refining of all related business procedures, internal training of all the staff and internal and external auditing activities.
Also engaged in mentoring groups of engineering students, during final year Design Project.
