About Alena
I have been working as a freelance tutor and language teacher for several years now. At the same time, I am studying for a double Master of Education in German and Philosophy and German as a Second Language.
For me, language is the key to communication and therefore to people. I love to travel and expand my own language skills a little each time.

We work on vocabulary, listening comprehension, language and reading comprehension. To do this, we use workbooks and books that we can agree on beforehand. I adapt to the students' individual strengths and weaknesses and place great value on open and positive interaction with one another.

In the first lesson we will talk about your goals and wishes. What do you find easier and what is more difficult and how can I actively support you in your learning?
This allows me to tailor my lessons to you individually. I have a lot of materials, but in the long run it makes sense if we agree on a workbook, which you should also get.
I have my own work space that we can use (coffee is free).
