About Shadman
I am a Film student currently studying at the University of Westminster, one of the best UK universities to study Film and TV. Although my current specialisms are related to film production, I studied the subject academically to start with, through Media Studies at GCSE and Film Studies at A-level. I love the analysis of film that the subject requires you to do, and I've always been decent about writing about films from a critical or analytical perspective. Film Studies helped me to progress to further studies at university but also gained me a job in film programming at the British Film Institute (BFI). I've always loved film studies and I would like to revisit it by helping other students in time for their exams, in the hopes that they also have the opportunity to study Film further.

Films I can cover:
Vertigo, Blade Runner, La La Land, Winter's Bone, Captain Fantastic, Shaun of the Dead, Sightseers, Pan's Labyrinth, Wild Tales, Amy, Sunrise, Pulp Fiction.
Lessons for roughly one hour, and depending on your comfort with the material, I can either recap the films or teach them from scratch. Ideally, the aim would be to get you confident on at least two or three different sequences in each film that you can write about in your exams, integrated with the key focuses of each section (ideology, auteur, etc.)
