About Gareth
I’m Gareth Hughes. Since 2005, I’ve been dedicated to helping students achieve their drumming goals by providing tailored lessons both online and in person at my drum studio in Middlewich, Cheshire.
As a professional musician, I’ve played thousands of shows both in the UK and
internationally, including work on cruise ships and session work for TV, commercials, and film. I’ve worked in every type of group you can imagine from Jazz ensembles to Rock groups, world music and Big bands, in places as prestigious as the Royal Variety performances and
Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club. I have also released my own music and toured many times with my own groups.
