About Dorian
Dorian Mohar is a seasoned trumpet teacher and performer with over 20 years of experience. He has a BM in Music Education, MM in Trumpet Performance, worked 5 years as a Music Director and lead trumpet player on Carnival Cruise lines and has continued freelance trumpet lifestyle. He now teaches trumpet online and from his home studio in Cherry Hill, NJ. He is also the owner of Triplo Press, the world’s largest publishing companies of exclusively trumpet ensemble music. In addition, he runs trumpet clinics for schools, where he teaches students how to improve their sound, endurance, jazz skills, ensemble playing, and trumpet ensemble creation. Some of his former students have been accepted to prestigious music schools such as University of North Texas, Oberlin, and Ithaca.

I give lessons to students of all ages that want to be inspired! I love the band instruments and have spent years as a professional performing jazz trumpeter.

Dorian is one of the good teachers out there! He is kind, proficient, caring and someone who will go out of his way to make sure his students understand the topic. As well as being an accomplished musician and teacher with loads of experience, he has the patience required to be outstanding! I highly recommend Dorian to beginners and high level students!
My name is Michelle Cann and I am a professor at the Curtis Institute of Music. I have known Dorian for about 4 years and he has an amazing reputation as a teacher and performer. He loves working with beginners and motivating them to achieve their best.
