About Lea
I did my Master's degree in Software Engineering and got lucky to spent half a year in beautiful Canada. In the past years I have taught in different contexts and I'm still enjoying to work with students and pass on knowledge. I got the opportunity to work with students of different levels including university students. My experience reaches from teaching individuals to handling classes of students on my own. I have done a fair share of online tutoring already. Beginning of this year I spent two months in Asia teaching English.

To me, it is important to meet each other with respect during class. I'd say I have an interactive teaching style since teaching is not supposed to be a monologue but rather a conversation, which gives both the teacher and the student the opportunity to learn from one another. No matter whether you'd like to work on your pronunciation or need help with grammar, I can certainly help you out. I studied English as a foreign language myself and I am therefore familiar with concepts of teaching grammar. Having spent many months abroad, I speak English fluently. You can count on my motivation, patience and humor (who says studying needs to be boring) during classes!

Lea is one of the most passionate teachers I have met. When we worked together in Laos I got to see how much of a kind and caring person she is. She demonstrated patience and discipline as well as understanding when teach young and old students. To have Lea as a teacher would be a great benefit to anyone!

Preparation is key! This is why I always make time before each lesson to think about how to structure my teaching and to prepare materials if needed.
