About Szymon
My name is Szymon, I’m 25 years old. I come from Poland. In 2019 I graduated in Modern Greek philology at the University of Warsaw. Afterwards I worked as translator and as Greek teacher. Currently I live in Turkey and I write my master’s thesis in Turkish studies. Beside Polish and Greek I’m also fluent in English and Spanish.

I offer online Modern Greek lessons at all levels to everyone above the age of 16. By graduating in Modern Greek philology as well as living and studying in Greece and Cyprus I’ve come to know in depth Greek language (C2 level), the two hellenophone countries, its people and culture. During nearly a year of teaching, I’ve had the opportunity to create and test my own teaching materials. I believe that only a person who has gone through the process of learning Greek as a foreign language by himself will be able to advise on effective learning methods and explain the complexities of grammar in an easy and accessible way. During the first free lesson, we will set goals and adapt the study plan to your needs.

I had lessons with him for one semester. He helped me with my Greek studies when I had some issues with pronounciation and tenses. He can explain grammar in a pretty good and digestible way. ;) Also he has good quality materials prepared by himself so you know he puts a lot of effort in his teaching. :)
Szymon is a great teacher! He is very patient, explains grammar well and pays attention to correct pronunciation. He is also really funny, so the classes pass very quickly. I highly recommend him!
