About Online Music

Goldsmth:
He is a young Indian sensational Pianist, Keyboardist, Singer and a Music tutor. Since launching his YouTube Channel in 2014 with Solo composed projects and Instrumental performances, he has amassed over a million views, changing the course of his life in ways he never thought possible.

Goldsmth was born in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. He has studied Western, Carnatic music and other forms of music from his young age 5 and has had many amazing teachers throughout his journey. He moved to Chennai in 2016 and has resided there ever since. His sibling Arun Prakash, a certified music trainer and Executive Director of Opus School of Music.

Over the years, Goldsmth has fascinated audiences with his skill on the piano and the keyboards. He has explored various styles like - classical, blues, classic rock, jazz, carnatic and world music fusion. His thorough control of the instruments and speed in playing makes him a natural choice as a solo artist - or in the company of both International and Indian musical legends. Goldsmth is already performed a number of performances, around 700 stages in various countries.

His interest and prowess in combining hardware and software components in music production have produced complex effects and musical compositions. He is a brilliant combination of a stage and studio artist, with astounding technical acumen and calibre. With an ability to create music, Goldsmth straddles the music scene with celebrity artists - both International and Indian, known for complex syncopations like Mandolin U Rajesh, Singer V V Prasanna, Music Director Devi Sri Prasad, Singer Naresh Iyer and many more. Goldsmth is an integral part of the internationally acclaimed ‘Opus Music Band', a band singing fusion music.

As a Music Tutor:
Apart from performing, Goldsmth has been extensively involved in all levels of education, preparing candidates for music examinations and running ensembles. He teaches both International Music Notation and Indian Classical Music Notation to all category students for more than 10 years. He is particularly well regarded for his teaching ability to develop musical excellence in his students by integrating the technical and theoretical fundamentals with the enjoyment of music. He has published books and articles in several music journals and featured on audio recordings.

Originally from India, Goldsmth studied Piano, Electronic Keyboard at University of West London, graduating in 2012 and Vocal at Madras University, graduating in 2015. He is educationally qualified in Master of Business Administration at Alagappa University, graduating in 2018.

At Present, he holds the post of Chief Executive Officer of the Opus School of Music since 2009.

Goldsmth continues to explore the new directions that music takes him, and truly hopes you will join him on this journey.
