About Alyson
I am a Certified Reading Specialist (USA) who is trained in specific research based reading interventions for students with dyslexia, or who are struggling and have yet to be diagnosed with a specific reading disability. My training is in Orton Gillingham methods, as well as Lindamood bell, LIPS. I have 15 years teaching experience in the USA and internationally, with a Masters degree in Reading and a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and psychology. I am passionate about Early Intervention and instilling a love of Reading and Writing in students.

I work with student between the ages of 5 - 12. Lessons can be between 30 minutes to 60 minutes long (price adjusted accordingly). They are online only as I am located in Spain. These lessons are multi-sensory, dynamic, and research based. I cater each lesson to the exact skill your child needs, based on a variety of assessments. I follow the Orton Gillingham approach to reading intervention, as it is highly effective when teaching students with, or without, dyslexia. I make the lessons fun and interactive!
