About ELENA
¡Hola! My name is Elena and I have been teaching Spanish for more than ten years. Currently, I am in Zaragoza (Spain), my hometown, but for the last 15 years I've lived in the Dominican Republic, Açores Islands and England, trying to combine most of my passions: teaching languages, experiencing other cultures and doing outdoor sports. I am in love with words, communication, surf, rock climbing and nature and there are not many things that make me happier than having the opportunity of helping people to develop their skills to communicate in a different language.
With your motivation, my training as a linguist and the experience of many years working with students of all ages, levels, nationalities and learning styles, I'm sure we will achieve your goals: either if they are learning Spanish from the very beginning, passing an official exam or getting around confidently in linguistic immersion contexts.
I can't wait to meet you so we can start working together!

Learning a language is opening up to the opportunity of communicating with lots of new people. Communication, that's the key. Therefore, in class we will use your motivations and interests to make communication real. In my experience, the more diverse and relevant the materials are, the more significant learning is. We will create an environment that will encourage you to develop your confidence to speak Spanish, no matter what your level is. Whether you are studying for an official exam, have just moved to a Spanish-speaking country, need Spanish at work or want to be ready for your next vacation, we will find the resources that best suit your learning style and purposes: articles, texts, roleplaying, grammar exercises, games and any other material that can help you achieve your goals.
