About Ascensión
Hi there! My name is Ascensión and I live in Spain. My passion is teaching. I have had the experience of teaching my native language in an English private School in Spain, teaching Spanish to adults and children. I believe that the best way to learn a language is losing our fear and interacting with different people (that's why I'm here and you are reading this!) Through my educational stage as a student, I felt that teachers overwhelmed me with grammar exercises, many worksheets and, from time to time, I had no motivation to learn. I want to stop that. What we need is to learn to love the language that we are acquiring and we will reach this goal through fun and a wide range of activities used in my classroom. Learning a foreign language is better by communicating with other people, listening to songs, watching films, reading and travelling.

In the first lesson, we will discuss your learning goals, as well as your weaknesses and strengths. We can use a wide range of materials but your personal preference would also be taken into account. I have been teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language for two years with adults and currently I work as a Primary School Teacher in Spain. Therefore, whether you are an adult or a kid I would be more than happy to teach you.
