About Lynda
One of the most satisfying feelings in the world is helping someone succeed and that is what I have been enjoying throughout my teaching career. I am a teacher of 24 years experience in secondary schools in Australia and the UK. I obtained my CELTA qualification in 2013 and taught for two summers at Francis King School in London and tutored students individually during school terms.

My initial aim is to get to know my student and to establish their current level of English proficiency to ensure that I prepare appropriate lesson materials. I also like to understand what my student is aiming to achieve, be it greater fluency, vocabulary building, essay writing, exam skills and more. I like to tailor my style to suit my student so that they feel comfortable and confident to learn.
