About Teresa

Hello! I'm Teresa, originally from Zambia, with an academic background in Finance and Business. I enjoy learning new things, solving problems, and finding practical ways to make complex concepts easier to understand.

My studies have helped me develop skills in mathematics, accounting, finance, and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. I enjoy sharing knowledge and helping others build confidence in their abilities. I understand that some subjects can feel challenging, but with patience, practice, and the right guidance, every student can make progress.

I want to tutor because I enjoy helping people learn, overcome challenges, and develop skills they can use in their education and future careers. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I look forward to supporting you on your learning journey!

My lessons are practical, interactive, and tailored to each student's learning needs. I break down challenging concepts into simple, manageable steps and use worked examples, practice exercises, and real-life applications to help students understand each topic.

I offer support in mathematics, introductory linear algebra, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, introductory accounting, and finance. Whether you are a high school student preparing for exams, a college student learning the basics, or a university student looking to strengthen your skills, I will help you build confidence and improve your understanding.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, with flexibility depending on your goals and schedule. We will identify the topics you find challenging, work through them together, and practise until you feel more confident. My goal is to create a friendly, supportive learning environment where you can ask questions freely and learn at your own pace.
