About Adwaitha

I am currently on a gap year with a confirmed place at the University of Bath for 2027 entry. I love to teach and have had 6 years' worth of experience in doing so! I can easily adapt lessons in different ways depending on the student, and would strive to ensure that every lesson is useful for them. I would help them in building a bank of resources they can always look back on to help them in their studies. I will help look over essays and do essay practice to mentor them in helping them have a higher quality of writing that comes naturally and with ease. I have been an English mentor while at my sixth form, mentoring GCSE English students; one of which started at a 4 and ended up achieving an 8 at the end of the year! If you choose me as your English tutor, I promise I will be the support you need to help you achieve the top marks you want heading towards that final exam.

English

I lead hour-long lessons, targeted towards GCSE and A-Level English students, which includes help with coursework and NEAs. I am a tutor for a SEN student for functional English and Maths skills, and I have been an English mentor while at my sixth form, mentoring GCSE English students alongside my own studies. When starting lessons with a student, my first goal would be to understand where exactly the student needs help. I can lead lessons in different ways depending on the student, and would help them in building a bank of resources they can always look back on to help them in their studies. I will help look over essays and do essay practice to mentor them in helping them have a higher quality of writing.

Overall, my teaching methodology is heavily led by the ability of the student. It is my main focus to ensure that the student gets the help they need in specific areas of the subject. I allow the flexibility for them to choose what we go over in lessons, so as to make sure the session is most useful for them.
