About Abi
I enjoy my current job as a Science teacher. However, tutoring allows me to tailor my lessons to individuals or smaller groups. I enjoy the challenge and am keen to help those who are eager to succeed. I want to help parents feel assured they have chosen the right person who genuinely cares about their students' success and is able to get the results they deserve.

My approach is ensuring the student understands the concept not simply rote learning. Use of diagrams, animations, videos. Tips on exam technique using my examiner experience. Constant checkpoints throughout the lesson. Regular assignments to ensure the student can independently apply their knowledge. Conversations with pupils and parents on what has worked for the student and ensure SEND is included in my approach. Track pupils' progress to allow for accurate focus on weaker areas and accurate feedback to the student.
