About Chandler
Hi, I am Anthony Mullis, a digital nomad & entrepreneur who has been teaching Spanish online for 5 years now. This experience led me to create Nomad Language Academy, a school for digital nomads & expats who want to integrate more into Latin America & feel more comfortable in their new home.
I believe in a conversational first approach to learning Spanish, teaching grammar only after providing students a base by which to grasp the language. No point in learning rules with no vocabulary to put it into practice!

My language teaching approach is founded on 2 principles: Speaking early and often, and focusing on learning to handle daily situations so that we are able to quickly learn to handle frequent situations, before moving on to focus more on grammar.
Once we achieve an intermediate level, we will be focusing on reading simple sources materials, like articles, newspapers or books in the language in order to expand our vocabulary.
And at the advanced level, we will focus on native material, with a heavy audio focus, using podcasts, music and tv to improve our listening skills and learn more colloquial expressions.
