About Osamwonyi
I am a 3rd year Oxford Philosophy, Politics and Economics student and started tutoring 4 years ago. I started out tutoring at a tutoring centre, tutoring maths and English to kids between the ages of 4-14 in a classroom setting. Around 3 years ago I started privately tutoring friends, family and students from my sixth form. I have tutored an age range from between the ages of 8-18, including primary school maths, right up until A level maths, physics and economics.

Everyone has their favourite teachers in school, and I am no different. I approach my tutoring lessons based on an amalgamation of techniques that worked best for me and my fellow students in school. To be engaging is the most valuable trait of any teacher and I achieve this by way of starting out each new topic with a back and forth structure between me and the student, slowly loosening my involvement proportionate to the student's level of comprehension. Relating the work at hand to the student and the wider world, context setting, and prevalent use of examples also aid this goal.
