About Geoffrey
I am currently studying a PhD in the space and atmospheric physics subdepartment at Imperial College London having graduated with a first class masters degree in physics at Jesus college Oxford. Prior to this I achieved four A*s at A level in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I will work to cater for the unique needs of all individuals whilst creating an environment that is stimulating and promotes a thirst to learn. I will give students a deep insight into the complex and intellectually challenging ideas that accompany maths and physics. I believe in a tutoring approach that results in mastery of the fundamental concepts so that the student is able to thrive going forwards. I am Qualified to teach Maths, Physics and Chemistry up to A level and I can offer guidance to students that are considering applying to competitive university courses for maths and physics. Perfect! Excellent tutor
Geoffrey is a great teacher who knows very well how to approach a learner. His communication skills are outstanding. Patience and ability to adjust to knowledge needs is exceptional. Geoffrey was an extremely confident and able mathematician who picked up complex ideas and techniques quickly. A good communicator with first class problem solving skills and would recommend him to you without reservation.
Geoffrey has exceptional knowledge of physics and has a somewhat infectious passion for the subject. He has helped me on many occasions when I struggled to grasp certain unintuitive concepts with an uncanny ability to explain them clearly and concisely. This, alongside his good sense of humour and ability in other subjects such as maths and chemistry makes him an excellent tutor.
