Parsons School of Design Professor Gives Film Production and Film History Lessons for Undergraduates and Enthusiasts in New York City

As a young student in film and design, Kyle reinvigorated my love for the artform through his teaching and references. I was introduced to life-changing pieces of art that I never truly understood the full scope of until a few years after being his student. Above the historical references to film and photography though, was Kyle’s ability to adapt to one’s creative vision, provide succinct feedback when needed, all while uplifting your creative abilities and confidence in making projects. I was lucky to have Kyle teach me and I’m even luckier to have made a lifelong friend, which I haven’t been able to say about any other professor I’ve had thus far. I couldn’t recommend him more!

I believe that Kyle not only has an impeccable creative eye, but he also has an extensive knowledge of all things film and production. He makes a vast and conceptual topic digestible and deeply intriguing!

Kyle is a great teacher who prioritizes connecting with his students through a multitude of filmmaking and photographic techniques. There are so many niche pieces of media that I consistently refer to that I would have never discovered if it weren't for Kyle. He is very passionate about his teachings which makes for a positive and interactive learning environment. I couldn't recommend him enough!
