About Khalid
My name is Khalid, and I’m a CFI/CFII based in Columbus, Ohio. I’ve been in your position before, working through training, preparing for checkrides, and dealing with the pressure that comes with it. That experience is what drives how I teach today.
I focus on creating a supportive and professional environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building real understanding. I don’t believe in memorization alone, I make sure you actually understand the “why” behind everything, so you can apply it confidently in the cockpit and during your checkride.

I’m a CFI/CFII dedicated to helping students pass checkrides on the first try and truly understand aviation, not just memorize it. I offer personalized ground lessons for Private, Instrument, Commercial, CFI, and CFII with a strong focus on IFR procedures, real world scenarios, and oral exam preparation.
My teaching style is clear, structured, and tailored to your level. Whether you’re starting from zero or getting ready for a checkride, I break down complex topics into simple, practical concepts you can actually apply in the cockpit.
I also focus heavily on confidence building, so you walk into your checkride prepared, calm, and ready to succeed. If you want efficient, no fluff training that gets results, I’ve got you.
