About Chris
I am an Irish guitarist, composer, teacher, and music technologist, based in London.
I studied Music at Trinity College, Dublin and Composition at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, on scholarships from the Ralph Vaughan Williams Trust and the Guildhall School Trust, and Classical Guitar at the Royal Irish Academy of Music, with Marion Hyland.
I am also a trained recording engineer, and have produced recordings for bands, classical ensembles, and others.
As a composer, my work has been performed by the London Symphony Orchestra, Crash Ensemble, Andrew Zolinsky, Liam Byrne, Delia Stevens, EXAUDI, Plus Minus Ensemble, and others, at venues and festivals including Wigmore Hall, Milton Court Concert Hall, LSO St. Lukes, the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, and New Music Dublin, and my work has also been recorded and released on NMC Recordings.
