About Ayumi
My name is Ayumi. I’m originally from Tokyo, Japan. I have over 16 years of experience in teaching and education. I’m a certified childcare professional both in Japan and in Australia. I’ve worked as a Japanese educator both in Japanese nursery schools and a government certified international schools, and I also served as a principal for three years at an international preschool. This experience gave me deep insight into both teaching and leadership, and it helped me understand how to support students of different ages, backgrounds, and learning needs. Currently, I teach Japanese online to both children and adults. Many of my students are beginners who want to speak naturally and understand cultural nuances.
