I've had weekly lessons with Mercedes over the past year, they have always been useful and enjoyable.

I am a fairly new student of Mercedes from earlier on this year but she is very kind & patient. Really easy to get on along with and always makes you feel comfortable when learning. I do not know what i would do without having her as a Spanish tutor.

I’ve been taking classes with Mercedes for a couple of months now! She’s a brilliant teacher and is very flexible. She’s more than happy to lead the topic of the class if you’re stuck for ideas or to prepare materials if you have a particular theme in mind. Her classes are very laid back and relaxed which sets the scene for a great learning environment.

Mercedes is super-intelligent and we’ve had some really interesting conversations about the history and culture of Spain. Whilst my ability to speak Spanish has certainly improved, indirectly, so has my general knowledge!

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mercedes to anyone who has an interest in improving their Spanish.

Mercedes is a very helpful and kind teacher who happily explains anything that you're not sure on. She is patient and always comes to the lessons ready with a plan, but will tailor the lesson to whatever you want to do or practise! She is friendly and is happy to chat about things that are important to her, so the lessons are fun. She is also flexible with her schedule if anything comes up which is super useful. I can recommend her 100%.

Mer is a fantastic Spanish teacher and is very patient. She is warm and friendly, her classes are relaxed, and she will happily talk about any subject i want to. She answers all my questions and helps me to pronounce my words properly, in an attempt to get rid of my guiri accent!! I would 100% recommend Mercedes, since I started learning with her my Spanish has come on by leaps and bounds and I can even watch Spanish films without subtitles now, all thanks to her.
