About Mara
I've been drawing or doodling something for as long as I can remember and I am trying to turn my passion into something more than a hobby, by teaching others about the wonderful ways in which art can help is express ourselves. I also have experience with art in media since I have illustrated a poetry book and a few magazines.

I love art and teaching people about it is one of the most beautiful interactions someone can have. That is why I always aim towards a friendly approach, I am very encouraging of any artistic expression as long as it turns out to show the idea that the artist is tryin to express. I like teaching people about the theory of using watercolor and acrylics in a fun, interactive way because that is what art should be about. I will also give a few assignments which we will discuss during the following lessons. I am confident that letting the students have some artistic freedom is the best way of finding their own voice.

I've known Mara for a few years now and I can certainly say that she's one of the most creative people I've ever met. She is friendly and enthusiastic, so it is really easy to get comfortable and you can concentrate on learning a new language with an amazing tutor. I would recommend her as a teacher any day!
Mara is a wonderful teacher for many reasons. First, I would list her incredible creativity which makes even the most seemingly boring parts turn into some exciting fantasy story. The whole learning process becomes funnier and much easier than studying on your own. She has a real talent for anything related to biology and arts. This is just a win-win combination for getting a better grasp of any of these particular subjects. Or both:) Plus, she is patient, friendly, warm, nonjudgmental so you will definitely feel comfortable during the class.
