About Julia
Hi! My name is Julia, and music has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I have been playing guitar for 12 years and graduated from music school, where I built a strong foundation in music theory and performance. Over the years, I’ve also learned to play bass guitar, ukulele, piano, and drums, which gives me a well-rounded approach to teaching. Beyond performing, I love teaching and inspiring others to play. My TikTok channel with 16,500+ followers has allowed me to share my knowledge with thousands of aspiring guitarists, helping them start their journey in a fun and simple way. Seeing my students progress and enjoy making music is what I love most about teaching. I believe that learning guitar should be exciting, motivating, and personal. That’s why in my lessons, we focus on your favorite songs—because playing the music you love is the best way to stay inspired! Whether you’re a beginner picking up the guitar for the first time or someone looking to improve your skills, I’m here to guide you step by step in a supportive and encouraging way. I believe that the best way to learn guitar is through the music you love. That’s why my lessons are always tailored to each student’s favorite songs, making learning fun, engaging, and motivating.
My Teaching Method & Techniques
~We start with your favorite song – this keeps you inspired and excited to play.
~ First, we focus on solo parts to train your fingers and build confidence.
~ Then, we move on to chords, strumming, fingerpicking, rhythm, and even barre chords or fingerstyle (depending on your level).
~ I break down each song into simple steps, making it easy to follow.
You will not only play but also understand basic music theory in a practical way.
A Typical Lesson Plan
1. Learning a new part of your chosen song – solo, chords, or rhythm.
2. Practicing with guidance & corrections – improving technique and confidence.
3. Playing the song together – building fluency and enjoyment.
