About Jorge
I am originally from Colombia and moved to the United States when I was 9 years old. Growing up between both cultures has given me a strong understanding of the language and cultural nuances of both Spanish and English. This experience allows me to connect easily with students who are learning Spanish as a second language.
As someone who is fully bilingual, I understand the challenges that come with learning a new language, and I use that perspective to support my students. I am passionate about helping others build confidence, improve their communication skills, and enjoy the learning process.

I believe that learning a language should be interactive and enjoyable, so I combine structured grammar explanations with conversation, listening, and real-life examples. I adapt each lesson to the student's goals, whether it's improving speaking, mastering grammar, or preparing for exams. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I tailor every lesson to the individual student. I do this in order to be able to focus on their strengths and areas of improvement. My lessons are for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners.
