About Olivia
I am a singing tutor with over 10 years of experience and a Licentiate of Music in Voice. I specialize in working with adult beginners, hobbyists, and those returning to singing after a break. My lessons are designed to be low-pressure and encouraging, creating a safe space where students can feel comfortable and confident. I focus on breathwork, vocal relaxation, posture, and mindfulness in music to help develop a healthy and beautiful tone. I teach a variety of genres, including Jazz, Folk, Blues, and Contemporary Adult styles. My approach combines technical skill with creativity, helping students find their unique voice. I’m passionate about showing people how singing can be a form of self-care and a source of joy. Whether you’re starting fresh or coming back to singing, I’m here to support you every step of the way. My voice lessons focus on breathing techniques, vocal health, pitch training, and performance skills. For Suzuki students, I emphasize building a strong foundation with gentle, consistent practice to develop clear pitch and tone. We work on emotional connection through simple songs that build confidence and expression step by step.
Orchestra members receive tailored training to improve vocal blend, projection, and stamina for group performances. They learn to maintain vocal health while managing challenging parts and long rehearsals. Both groups use apps for ear training and vocal tracking, helping them improve pitch accuracy and monitor progress.
I adapt exercises to suit each student’s needs, ensuring they grow technically and emotionally. My goal is to help every singer find their unique voice and perform with confidence. Whether learning solo or in a group, students gain skills that support lifelong singing.
