About John
Hiya! I'm a Durham University maths graduate with experience tutoring mathematics, statistics and mechanics from primary school to A level as well as all aspects of the 11+ exam. I am happy to adapt to any pupil, regardless of age, ability or level of enthusiasm! I am naturally a gentle and methodical teacher, who aims to instil in pupils a new way of looking at mathematics and problem solving in general. Whether your goal is to further your career, your exam results or to get your child into a better secondary school, I think that a calm, logical approach coupled with improved mathematical tricks and tools and an understanding of the underlying principles is essential. I have limitless patience and can offer creative new ways to help overcome maths phobia!
