About Athena
I am a dedicated and patient tutor with strong skills across all academic subjects. I enjoy helping students understand material clearly and build confidence in their abilities. I am experienced in supporting students with homework, test preparation, and long-term study skills in a way that is organized and easy to follow. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs and explain concepts step by step to make learning less stressful and more effective. My goal is to help students improve academically while also developing confidence and independence in their learning.

The lessons can be for anyone K-9th, I don't mind working with those in 10th grade either. What sets me apart is that I plan lessons and give studying methods depending on my tutee's learning style. Usually, we would go over a lesson on a specific subject and focus on parts my tutee struggles with, I then give some tips and tricks for remembering the lesson and putting it to use.
