About Myah

I am a tutor who understands students both academically and personally. Unfortunately, I know what it feels like to be an average student, to doubt yourself, and to wonder if you're even capable of more. Because I've lived that journey, I also know exactly what it takes to move from "getting by" to genuinely excelling. Through my company, No Rain, No Flowers Tutoring, where our motto is "Success Starts Here", I use research-based strategies, patient guidance, and ADHD-friendly techniques to help students grow in both skill and confidence. My approach blends structure, encouragement, and intentional systems that work for all types of learners. Due to this, my families feel reassured knowing they're supported by someone who has faced the struggle, mastered the solution, and is deeply committed to bringing out each child's best. With me, your child isn't just receiving tutoring. They're receiving belief, support, and a pathway to lifelong success.

About the lesson

My approach as a tutor is rooted in patience, personalization, and evidence-based strategies that meet students exactly where they are. I use a structured yet flexible teaching method that blends direct instruction, and ADHD-friendly learning strategies to help students understand concepts deeply, rather than memorize them.

What sets me apart is my dual role as both a reading tutor and an academic success coach. I not only teach literacy and study skills, but more importantly, I help students build confidence, organization, and lifelong learning habits that give them the opportunities to succeed.

My lessons are designed for all elementary and middle school students (native & international) who need support with reading, comprehension, writing, study skills, or executive functioning. More importantly, I am for families who want a tutor who understands their whole child, not just the academics.
