About Yanzei

Hello! My name is Yanzei. As a dedicated STEM scholar, I approach education with a high standard of academic excellence, meticulous organization, and genuine professionalism. Choosing the right tutor is an investment in your child’s future, and I take that responsibility seriously. I am fully committed to providing a structured, safe, and highly encouraging learning environment where your child can truly thrive.

My background in the sciences has trained me to be exceptionally patient, analytical, and detail-oriented—qualities that I bring to every single tutoring session. I understand that every student learns at their own pace, which is why I customize my approach to match each child's unique needs, ensuring they never feel left behind.

When you work with me, you can expect absolute punctuality, clear communication, and a reliable partner who is deeply invested in building your child's foundational skills and academic confidence. Together, we will turn frustration into breakthroughs and academic challenges into proud achievements.

English

- Who It Is For: Kindergarten to Elementary students (K–6) in Laguna looking to build confidence or get ahead in Math and English.

- Teaching Method: I use an interactive, visual approach. For Math, I use physical and visual objects before moving to numbers. For English, I use storytelling and reading games to build vocabulary and comprehension instead of forced memorization.

Typical 60-Minute Lesson:
- Warm-Up (10 mins): A quick, fun game to review the last lesson.
- New Topic (15 mins): Simple, bite-sized introduction with visual aids.
- Guided Practice (20 mins): Working through problems together step-by-step.
- Game & Challenge (10 mins): An independent educational activity to test skills.
- Wrap-Up (5 mins): The student explains the concept back to me in their own words.

- What Sets Me Apart: As a STEM student, I bring advanced logical thinking and structure to the table, but I translate it into patience, creativity, and kindness. I don't just teach kids how to get the right answer; I teach them how to think and enjoy learning.
