About Justice

I’m a medical student at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where I’m completing my MD alongside a Master of Health Policy. I graduated summa cum laude from Xavier University of Louisiana with a bachelor’s in biology and a minor in chemistry, with honors in chemistry, biology, and mathematics, and I was on the Dean’s List all four years.

Teaching has been part of my path since college. I served as Lead Biology Tutor at Xavier, where I also mentored other tutors, and I now tutor in Penn’s medical school tutoring program. I also mentor students through the surgery clerkship, teach problem-based learning sessions, and have worked with high school students interested in medicine. I’m patient, organized, and committed to helping every student feel confident.

I’m a Penn medical student and a summa cum laude biology graduate with a chemistry minor and honors in chemistry, biology, and mathematics. I tutor organic chemistry, biochemistry, biology, precalculus, calculus, and USMLE Step 1 and 2. I’ve tutored since college, first as Lead Biology Tutor at Xavier University of Louisiana and now in Penn’s medical school tutoring program, so I know how to adapt to different learning styles.

My approach is to focus on understanding rather than memorizing. In organic chemistry and biochemistry, we work through mechanisms and pathways step by step until you can reason through problems you haven’t seen before. In calculus, we practice problems together and build up from the fundamentals. For Step 1 and 2, we focus on clinical reasoning, high-yield concepts, and how to approach exam questions.

A typical lesson starts with a quick review of your goals and trouble spots, moves into guided practice, and ends with a summary and a plan for the week. My lessons are for high school, undergraduate, pre-med, and medical students. I’m patient, organized, and happy to build a study plan that fits your schedule.
