About Christopher
Hi guys, my name is Chris and I am 25. I am a seasoned recording and performing guitarist of 11 years. I have performed guitar live in multiple environments including church services and church events, as well as many different venues across the DFW metroplex for rock and metal genres. I am a certified Audio Engineer from Collin College in 2015, and graduated UNT in 2019. Currently I hold a position at First United Methodist Church of Denton as their Pro-Audio Engineer.
I have taught guitar lessons for about 5 years now, starting at the end of 2015. I've taught between 10-15 students over the years to much success and have a great time developing them and connection with them. My students tastes have ranged from Pop, all the way to Metal and I encourage embracing those styles with them.

My teaching method is based around mixing beginner-intermediate level essential guitar knowledge with music based each students individual tastes. My students learn to play their favorite styles while also learning a bit of music theory and proper technique. As my students advance, so do the concepts and knowledge.
