About Mahdis
Hi, I’m Mahdis
I’m a native Persian (Farsi) speaker based in Coquitlam, Canada, with a background in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and several years of experience working with children.
I specialize in teaching Persian (Farsi) and providing elementary math support for children, especially those from Iranian and bilingual families. I’m patient, caring, and focused on helping children feel confident and comfortable while learning.
In my teaching, I use child-friendly methods, including games, visual materials, and hands-on activities. For math, I break down concepts like numbers, addition, subtraction, and basic problem-solving into simple, easy-to-understand steps.
I believe every child learns differently, so I always adapt my lessons to each child’s age, level, and learning style. Teaching is not just about academics for me—it’s about building confidence and a love of learning

My lessons are designed for children in elementary school, focusing on Persian (Farsi) language and elementary math, in a fun, supportive, and structured way.
In my Persian (Farsi) lessons, children will:
• Learn speaking, listening, reading, and writing step by step
• Build confidence using Persian, especially for bilingual and Iranian families
• Learn through games, stories, songs, and visual activities
In my elementary math lessons, I help children:
• Understand basic concepts such as numbers, addition, subtraction, and problem-solving
• Improve math confidence using simple explanations and hands-on practice
• Learn at their own pace with clear, child-friendly methods
Each lesson is adapted to the child’s age, level, and learning style. My goal is to make learning enjoyable, build confidence, and help children succeed both academically and emotionally.
During the trial lesson, I assess the child’s level, identify their needs, and create a simple learning plan tailored to them
