About Sofia
Hello everyone, my name is Sofia and I'm 26 years old. I come from France where I was raised my whole life. I moved to Texas two years ago thanks to an athletic scholarship (track and field). I am very grateful I learned English during those last two years. I recently graduated and got my Master's degree of International Sport Management with 3.9 (GPA)!! I will forever thank my athletic Coach for granting me this athletic scholarship.
Concerning my professional experiences, during my Bachelor in France I had two internships focused on sports education: I was a sports teacher for two years with children and teenagers from 4 years old to 16 years old.
During my student life on Texas A&M-Commerce’s campus I had the opportunity to teach French to several students. American students are very curious and happy to meet foreigners, it was an amazing experience.

During the first lesson we will talk about your goals, why you want to learn French, what you like and dislike in the learning process. Those details will help me to create the most personal and appropriate lessons for you.
Having conversations is the best way to learn a language. There is nothing more guenuine and real than a conversation between two different persons.
So for that, we will learn the basis of French to give us the ability to create conversations.
I started to learn English three years ago. The first year was mediocre because I was trying to learn by myself, it was not a good technique for me. When I moved to United States I improved my English way faster thanks to daily conversations with American friends and other International students.

Sofia is a great French professor. As a native French, she helped me improve a lot on my language. Tell her your goals, whether it’s for work, school or to prepare a test and she will help you reach them. She is very nice and makes learning a new language accessible & enjoyable. You won’t be disappointed by choosing her
I think that Sofia is a great teacher because the way that she takes her time to explain her French lessons are very helpful! She is very commited to her job and you can tell that she really enjoys helping others learn French, I love that about her. I would definitely recommend her to anyone trying to learn French
