About Tapi
I'm a University of Manchester student and a Highly Commended Candidate of the Freshfields Stephen Lawrence Scholarship 2026. I work with sixth formers and GCSE students on personal statements, university applications, and A-Level Politics and History. I've been through competitive scholarship and law application processes myself and know what makes an application stand out. I focus on serious, structured support rather than generic advice.

I’m Tapi, a University of Manchester student offering academic mentoring and application support to sixth formers and GCSE students. I’m a Freshfields Stephen Lawrence Scholarship Highly Commended Candidate, a Social Mobility Foundation scholar with mentoring from Bank of England senior staff, and an active participant in the Slaughter and May Lead in to Law programme.
I offer:
• Personal statement and university application support (Oxbridge, Russell Group, competitive courses)
• Law application mentoring (training contract preparation, vacation scheme applications, scholarship applications)
• A-Level tutoring in Politics (A) and History (B)
• GCSE History tutoring
• Interview preparation for scholarships and competitive programmes
I work with students who want serious, structured support rather than generic advice. Sessions are tailored to your specific application, school, and goals.
Rates from £20 per hour for tutoring, £30 per hour for application strategy and personal statement review. First 30-minute consultation free.
Based in Manchester. Available online (Zoom or Teams). Message me for availability.
