About Lucía
Hi! I’m a multilingual student currently studying Chemical Engineering at the University of Edinburgh with a passion for teaching English in a supportive and engaging way.
Having learnt and worked in different languages myself, I understand the challenges students can face with confidence, pronunciation, writing and communication. I enjoy helping students improve step by step while making lessons interactive, practical and adapted to their goals.
I teach students of different ages and levels, including those preparing for university entrance, improving academic English, or simply wanting to feel more confident speaking and writing in English. My aim is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel motivated, supported and confident asking questions.

My English lessons are personalised depending on each student’s level and goals, whether that is improving speaking confidence, strengthening grammar and spelling, developing reading and writing skills, or preparing for university entrance and exams.
Lessons are available in 45-minute, 1-hour or 1.5-hour sessions depending on the student’s needs and learning style. I focus on making classes interactive and practical rather than based only on memorisation. Sessions can include conversation practice, pronunciation exercises, writing tasks, presentations, vocabulary-building activities and real-life communication scenarios.
As a multilingual student myself, I understand the challenges of learning and using another language academically and confidently. My goal is to create supportive and engaging lessons where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and improving step by step.
