What happens in a first lesson with me:
I will give a basic introduction about myself, my teaching styles, and more importantly, to know you and your needs.
I will check your language level and ensure I understand your goals.
I will send the appropriate materials (based on your needs and language levels) for you to learn after the class.
I will give homework after the first class (optional).
I will recommend an approximate number of hours and lesson frequency needed to achieve your goals after the first class.

I provide customised lessons for all levels of students who want to learn Chinese (Mandarin). I can use both Chinese and English fluently for bilingual teaching, thus even students with zero knowledge of Chinese wouldn't need to worry about communication.
At the same time, I also have tutoring experience for master students. For students who have higher requirements for Chinese study (for example, if your bachelor/postgraduate major is Chinese, with needs to write academic papers in Chinese), my solid academic foundation enables me to provide the corresponding tutoring.
