About Alec
I am a painter, writer, musician and curator. I have been teaching art privately for the last five years as well as maintain my own practice. I graduated from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago in 2010 where I attained my BFA. During this period I directed and curated an art gallery. Since then I have attended an artist residency in Normandy and moved to London where I make my own work and teach students.

Alec is a talented and patient tutor. Really enjoyed working with him to improve my painting skills
Alec was a fantastic teacher! I was applying for art school and really needed help fleshing out my portfolio. A friend recommended him to me. He taught me so much not just about how to make my own work better but also new ideas and art history. Got into art school and am so glad I took his classes!
