About Alpi
I am a Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) postgraduate with over 8 years of combined professional experience across healthcare, teaching, and the pharmaceutical industry in India and the United Kingdom. My experience includes 5 years in India working as a pharmacist, educator, and in corporate pharmaceutical and sales roles, along with 3 years in the UK as a pharmacy assistant and care support worker. This diverse background allows me to combine strong academic knowledge with real-world clinical and industry insight.
I also have significant experience as an online tutor, having successfully taught students from India, the UK, and Malaysia. Teaching learners from different academic systems has helped me develop a flexible, student-focused approach, adapting my lessons to various curricula, examination styles, and learning needs. I am comfortable using online teaching tools such as digital whiteboards, presentations, shared notes, and regular assessments to ensure engaging and effective sessions.
My teaching methodology is concept-based, structured, and exam-oriented. I focus on simplifying complex pharmacy topics using clear explanations, diagrams, flowcharts, and practical examples. Lessons are tailored to each student’s level and pace, with continuous revision and doubt-clearing to build confidence and long-term understanding. My approach to tutoring is student-centred, concept-based, and exam-oriented. I focus on building a strong foundation by explaining core concepts in a simple and structured way, using diagrams, flowcharts, real-life examples, and mnemonics where helpful. I adapt my teaching style according to the student’s level, learning speed, and academic goals. Regular questioning, short assessments, and revision sessions are used to ensure proper understanding and retention.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, which includes concept explanation, discussion, and problem-solving or revision. Longer or shorter sessions can be arranged based on the student’s needs.
I hold a Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) degree from India, with strong academic training in subjects such as Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and related pharmacy subjects. My background allows me to explain both theoretical concepts and their practical/clinical relevance clearly.
My lessons are suitable for undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy students, as well as B.Pharm, M.Pharm, and diploma students who need academic support, exam preparation, or concept clarification. I also welcome students who feel weak in basics and want step-by-step guidance in a supportive learning environment.
