About Martina
I've taught history and philosophy at various high schools in the province of Como. I'm a subject expert at the University of Pavia and have been a student tutor for several years. These assignments have allowed me to better understand each student's unique needs and have helped me develop a teaching method that promotes understanding of what is being studied, rather than mere repetition.

I graduated from the "A. Volta" high school in Como with a classical high school diploma, graduated from the University of Pavia, earned a Research Master's degree in Belgium (KU Leuven), and earned a PhD in Philosophy. I also spent periods of study and research in Germany. I have been a substitute teacher at several high schools in the Como area. I would love to share what I have learned and, at the same time, be of help to others. My favorite subjects are the humanities, which I believe cannot be simply learned by rote, but rather should be understood by fostering everyone's capacity for interpretation. This ad is open to both high school students (or younger) and university students.
